When we were asked to curate the art collection for Gensler’s annual White Party for the second time, we were honored and thrilled. Gensler is a leader in the world of design, and their client-focussed open house is a chance to share our artists with a large community. Skillfully positioned throughout the office were paintings, sculptures, and murals reflecting our commitment to emerging art. The selection of artists was impressive, ranging from Jerry Cabrera’s colorful oil on canvas, eight-foot sculptures by Joshua Welker, a mural by Josef Kristofoletti (before he did the infamous, Instgrammable Tau Ceti on Austin’s 2nd Street garage), and a radical synthetic hair interactive installation by Bonnie Gammill.
